It has been an absolute delight to see all of the children settling in this term. The children have all started to make new friends and enjoy accessing a variety of activities. The children love exploring the different areas of the room and are becoming independent in their choices.

If you haven’t yet, please take the time to label your child’s winter items- , hats, gloves, coats, and wellington boots. Also when hanging up your child’s items, please place hats and gloves in your child’s bag. If you could help your child get their apple with their picture on and leave them at the door this helps us to engage them in play and to gain some independence.

We will have our Christmas post box for your children to post their cards into in the office area from the 4th December.
We will be doing lots of arts and crafts, singing Christmas songs and having lots of fun throughout December please ensure your child’s got a bag with some spare clothes.

Please remember we follow these session times

Mornings 8.30am – 11.30am afternoons 11.45am – 2.45 pm
Full day session 8.30am – 2.30 pm (healthy packed lunch needed – sandwich, yoghurt and a piece of fruit, drink) No crisps, sweets or chocolate in the lunch box.

Christmas party
Christmas parties will be running all week from 10th till the 14th December. Don’t worry your child will attend one of them in their normal sessions.
Please inform us of any changes to contact details, collection arrangements or changes at home which may unsettle your child.

Please note our last day of term is Tuesday 18th December.  We return to playgroup on Monday 7th January 2019 at 8.30am
